Profile

I’m practicing doing an outline of the Mournes but I haven’t quite got it yet. I bought a drawing nib from Meticulous Ink, a lovely shop that sells all things inky and papery. They do very good little instructional videos on their website and I’ve been trying to do some copperplate writing. I’ve decided that I prefer modern calligraphy, though, and made this little statement in my own handwriting.

Once I’ve got a profile that I like I might try a simple watercolour wash to see what that looks like. It’s hard to develop a ‘style’ when my skills are limited! I definitely need to practice (practise?) more.
