How does your garden grow?

On the statue there are silver bells and cockle shells and the garden around Mairi sometimes had all-white flowers. Today there was bare soil and the green shoots of some Spring bulbs. You can just about see them in the background. The Ards Man and I will return and keep an eye on the flowers that eventually blossom. This little garden is in Mountstewart and the model for Mairi was a daughter of the house, Lady Mairi Londonderry.

This was my first walk after covid and I felt ok but weary once I got home.
