Ennerdale

An early start and the roads towards the lake were icy in places.  I chose to park at Bleach Green as I found out the road to Bowness Knot was closed due to timber lorries using it on Mondays to Fridays.  What you see here is Angler's Crag on the right and Bowness Knott is right centre.  No clouds in the sky which was like this.  The sun was shining over Angler's Crag.. I like the difference with the light.  Snow is still on many tops and on Skiddaw it is further own than you can see here.  I have decided to include the tree on the left too.  You can see the ground is frosty making a nice crushing sound as you walk over it.  Have a nice weekend everybody.
