Brrrrrrr

It was so cold last night that I woke up and had to put on another layer of clothes.  The day has been really cold as well, and we had snow earlier!  It didn't stick, but it was pretty to look at.  I think this shot of the drive outside my building has a rather painterly quality to it.

I was not, after all, able to go to Sarah's baby shower; I couldn't have managed to get around safely at the home where it was held.  So I sent my gift with Lex and hope there will be photos and videos to let me feel as if I'd been there.  I'm so sad - I was looking forward to seeing her joy.  But with any luck I'll see her tomorrow at family dinner.

I'm planning on getting started on my Thai curry soup once I've finished this.  Lots more vegetables to cut, but lots of good tasting soup after that.
