The Day of the Faux Pas.

The ultimate social faux pas.  I visited Caroline* but forgot to leave the chocolate cake with her.  But I will swing in past to her on my way to dancing class tomorrow morning.  Kenny Peace delivered the tickets to us for the Rendall Burns Supper. He leads the Rendall pipe band.  He’s also a plumber so obviously his favourite melody is ‘The Call of the Pipes’. 
 
Actually another social faux pas served chilled with a side order of ignominy.  When I went in to see my Mum, in the care home, in the morning, she was, literally, drunk.  She’d managed to access the bottle of brandy that’s she allowed sometimes.  The conversation can’t be reported.
