Sale Fell

A Sunday afternoon trot up Sale and a skid down. Amazingly, no rain despite the low cloud banks, but the thaw has turned the frosty
 iron-hard mud on the downhill stretch just over the brow of the hill into a slick slide, too treacherous to run on.
