How To Make A Colourful Ascent

I so enjoyed the walk along the riverbank in town yesterday and that I went back and did it again today. I arrived a bit earlier than yesterday and if anything the light was even more glorious than yesterday - the sky being an especially azure blue.
I'd also seen a couple of other blipworthy sights yesterday and I didn't want to use them all up in one blip! This is actually a climbing wall constructed out of hexagonal shaped blocks each stacked on top of the other with one of the struts of the nearby pedestrian bridge in the background. The colours of the blocks really popped against that blue sky.
The extra is a poor little bug looking rather forlorn in a nearby playground that has been cordoned off with barriers and warning tape.
It was my brother's first full week back at work and when I collected him from the station this evening he was so happy that is was Friday night. I treated him to a pint at the King and Kven on the way home, we didn't have to cook for once (just chuck an M&S ready meal in the oven) and we thoroughly enjoyed a glass of wine or two (o.k may a few more than that!). He had a great night but he did say he was utterly exhausted after his return to working and commuting again.
