Tiny toe?
No, it’s a fancy fallen fungus. A rotten birch branch had come to grief in the woods and this very attractive fungus had become detached from it. It was another grey damp day so I was very happy to find this for my blip.
In the morning, along with some friends, I went to an ecumenical service in Salen Church which was very well attended. People from different churches across the island came along: Roman Catholic, Free Church, Quakers, Scottish Episcopalian and Church of Scotland. Someone from each church introduced their choice of hymn, reading or prayer. It was most enjoyable and most folk agreed that we should do this more than once a year.
