Brazen Perfection

At the end of the afternoon the sun was shining brilliantly and I decided to search out another city centre scene worthy of a photo. I did not have far to go. I headed down Albion Street into the Merchant City and was struck by the interesting juxtaposition of the black and white facade of a wedding shop named 'Perfection', the matching jewellery boutique next door called 'Brazen' and the two high-powered motor bikes parked outside. Was there a raid going on?!

The strong side-lighting was interesting as it emphasised the whiteness of the wedding gowns against the backdrop of the dark pleated curtain. With so much light bouncing around, the shiny metal surfaces of the bikes were illuminated although they were in the shade. The red sandstone of the building added a pleasing framework to what is almost a monochrome study.

What a smart idea to have a jewellery shop next door to the boutique where brides can indulge their fancy for individually designed items of jewellery for their wedding day. Has to be a winner!
