Sunday stuff

Sunday was sunny but painfully cold on the fingertips with only summer gloves when we went for an 18km* bike ride. I should have got the woollen full-finger gloves out of the wardrobe!

I've recently discovered that biscuit-making is much easier with the kitchen robot instead of rubbing butter into flour manually. The second and third pictures in the collage are 'before' and 'after' cooking. The biscuits themselves were spicy, with ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg in decreasing order.

*Does it count as 18km with electrical assistance? You can vary the level from 0 (off) to 5 (max), mostly done at level 4 as there were a few hills. However, I didn't use the battery on the downward runs! :-)
