Thru a photographer's eye

Typical Spanish cafeteria

This example of a slightly dated but nonetheless rather endearing café-bar-restaurant (the signage outside even ventures as far as describing it as  a bistro!) features an excellent coffee machine. When I look at this picture, it reminds me of a quick break during a hectic morning in Alcoy, south-east Spain. The latter is technically a city, although it has the feel of a large town – nestled as it is along the ravines and mountainside of the interior of Alicante province.

The relatively easy-to-remember date (1/2/23) coincided with this 46km round-trip to get a new ID card and passport.
