Room with a view.

We’ve come not very far, but it’s a bit of a treat. Helmsley is where we are and we will do some touristy things tomorrow but for now it is great to have a beautiful market place with a town hall and castle beyond outside our bedroom window.
Stopped for a coffee in Thirsk on the way here and as we left the sun came out. The light as we reached Sutton Bank was just gorgeous, but sadly it’s not a road where you can stop the car and get out with a camera. I will just have to remember it :-)
