Crisp and Crunching!

Another sharp frost this morning - it was already frosty when I took Oscar for his last walk before bed yesterday! So a beautiful morning for a walk, and no squelching or splasing! It was  not as cold as I thought it would be. Halfway through our walk I had to take off my jacket and cardigan and roll up my woollen leggings under my trousers!! It was so lovely I took Oscar for a longer walk - through the woods, down to the boatyard, along the river then back up into the woods and then down to home! On my way I spotted my Builder putting up a new shed and had a long chat with him. Then as I neared home bumped into The Rower ( she is part of the rowing team in Calstock!) I told her I was on my way to a Reflexology session with Vegan Jo and she said she would love to be a volunteer patient for her. She is suffering from lots of things which she believes are due to the menopause. How ironic given today the government rejected a large scale pilot of menopause leave as it could discriminate against men. What arrant nonsense. I can't begin to put into words how furious I am. I suffered greatly from the menopause and was on daily nurofen due to the headaches caused by disrupted sleep before I was prescribed HRT. This government is incapable of doing anything for anyone apart from themselves and their old boy network. Their  corruption and self serving decisions are boundless. I include the BBC, MSM and the Royal Family!! Oh and now camping on Dartmoor is banned due to some rich landowner. Nellie and Barry joined the protest on Saturday - I had reflexology but next time I'll be there!
Reflexology with Jo was good again - seems my spleen is an area of concern! It feels like she is digging her nail into my foot when she touches the part of my foot that corresponds with it! Apparently it can cause low energy - I have been lacking in Oomph!
