A Productive Tuesday
A productive Tuesday after a really good night’s sleep - think my meds tweak has helped with that.
My pain levels have been lower. More sleep, less pain, more productive - just wish I could get two days in a row like that, how happy I would be!
Today, I did a bit of light housework and then rested with a coffee. Trying to sort out better storage of all the beauty goodies I have won over the past year, a long overdue task. I made some headway with it today.
I have all the stuff in today’s main Blip to find a better space for as well as another large cupboard full of products.
I have bagged up some bits I won’t use for friends and the rest I have tried to put into order. I am a naturally messy person so feel better when things are in order and everything has a home.
I am saving a small fortune on toiletries which I am incredibly grateful for as money is tighter than tight as usual. I am taking small steps towards all my long terms goals and learning to pace myself better. It’s a constant learning process.
This afternoon, I rearranged an appointment and booked a couple of others including some health review appointments and a fringe trim - my fringe is really getting on my nerves now.
I filled out an online application to move house which was needing done. My foot burn is healing well so my first skills must be efficient enough. I’m hoping getting my trainers on will soon be less of a screaming session!
Haven’t had my hair cut since about mid November and it’s getting long but happy enough with it for now. I’m fortunate not to have any greys despite being forty one. No expensive salon dye jobs required for which I am thankful.
I caught up with three of my friends today. My friend who has just become an uncle for the third time was telling me his sister has named her new baby girl Chloe. He is a very proud uncle! Sadly, my friend Rosie was telling me on Sunday that her Dad, who has dementia, has contracted pneumonia and is very poorly. It’s not looking good.
As Rosie has ME, PoTS and other health issues, her body doesn’t need such a stress. I am hoping her Dad pulls through as she is very fond of him. He is in a care home due to his dementia.
Today’s extras are of a photo I got today from a friend in Cumbernauld - I am friends with him and his wife and son. Harris, who I have extra Blipped before. So adorable! They did a 10k walk today. How I wish I could do that.
Changed days - I wish my body would behave. I used to take my pupils up the hills and mountains with my teaching colleagues many years ago to do their Duke of Edinburgh Awards. We all enjoyed it and had such fun and I was awful at PE at school with the exception of social dancing at Christmas time!
My second extra is of a cake made by a little girl (as she was then) who I worked one to one with in my early 20s as she was/is on the autistic spectrum. I had a very part time job as a nursery assistant for about a year in between studying for my uni degrees.
She now has her own successful cake business and has been nominated for many industry awards. She is now in her 20s herself, how old I feel. The circle of life! Isn’t it an absolute work of art? So proud of everything she has overcame and achieved :)
I hope everyone has had a great day. Thanks for all your lovely comments, advice, stars and hearts. I am planning to play catch up this evening and do my daily Duolingo German revision lesson. I am going to try and do a couple tonight as have only had the time and energy for one a day in recent weeks.
I hope everyone has had a great Tuesday and has a wonderful Wednesday tomorrow :) xx
