Snowy morning color

Well I went out this morning to feed the crows and see if our driveway had been plowed and it hadn't been. So Dan was up early and out to start shoveling my car out to the road. After one part done I had him come in and made some coffee. I contacted school and the pertinent people and told them I might be a little late. While he was out finishing I noticed the beautiful color in the sky to the west. The clouds were more colorful that way than looking east. Our backyard looks really pretty right now with all the snow.
The drive to school was fine I just took it a bit slower. I ended up getting there about 20 minutes late but there was still a long line of cars of parents dropping their students off. I think a one hour delay might have been a good idea just because it wasn't the greatest conditions. But all went well. The plow guy did come. He was exhausted and had forgotten us.
