Mother Goose

Pantomime season is over.... oh no it's not! Tonight, W and I went to see Mother Goose at the Duke of York's Theatre in London. It starred Sir Ian McKellen and John Bishop supported by a great cast. At the beginning, John Bishop appeared in normal attire just to make a few announcements. These included a little bit of history such as Sir Ian McKellen made his West End debut at the theatre and Charlie Chaplin made his only appearance on the London stage at the Duke of York's.
The show finishes at the weekend but is then going on tour around the country. so panto season is far from over!
