A cloistered life?
On our way down to see Mr and Mrs Untrained Eye, we turned off the M5 to visit Gloucester and stopped by the cathedral.
It's well worth a visit, believe me, an interesting mix of huge internal support pillars and yet with light, open stonework on the exterior. Inside you have not only the resting place of Edward the Second, but also that of the eldest son of Willian the Conk.
This blip is of the cloisters, just look at the ornate stonework on the roof/ ceiling, fabulous!.
