Blue on Blue…..

Son James and I packed up our camping gear and left Kaiteriteri around 10.30am. We visited a friend en route. She is building a house truck in a big farm shed. It is going to be stunning. E is an amazing young woman.
James and I stopped for gourmet pies and coffee at Upper Moutere. We then drove to Blenheim via Kawatiri Junction to Lake Rotoiti . I have never seen the Lake waters with whitecaps. It was very rough. Four women were swimming in its cold waters.. We arrived home at 3.45pm. A very cold windy evening. It was good to see that our house sitter has done a great Job looking after all three cats and Maisie.
