At The Beach Tonight

My last evening at Kaiteriteri… I walked along the foreshore and watched kids having fun sliding along through shallow water on small surf boards.. It looked great fun. We had some rain this morning. (Although nothing like the torrential rain in the Auckland area. A State of Emergency has been called by the Mayor. The flooding is devastating.)
Margaret left here before lunch to head to Blenheim and Picton for the “Interislander” ferry to Wellington . Friend Rachel and I drove to Marahau to the Park Cafe. Later she left to return home. James spent the afternoon with Alex and Duncan.
