Plan A for the morning (Keswick) turned into a freezer defrost. It made sense to do it while it was low and before I bought more food to go in. While in the loft to get bags for the freezer contents I brought a banana box down to sort through.

I popped through to Windermere in the afternoon for a few groceries and noticed that the lay-by opposite the start of the Orrest Head path was empty. There was still ample space after the shop so I parked and headed to the top.

It was a rush because of a one hour parking restriction. Add wrong lens, wrong ISO and poor visibility and the resulting photos didn’t impress. There’s a phone shot in extras ……. standing room only!
