Derelict hulks
I was out this morning with a small group from the camera club. We had decided to visit Hooe Lake where a number of old ships and boats, known as hulks have been abandoned. It is thought that this is a place where boats have been abandoned for centuries, explaining why the lake looks like a ship graveyard at low tide.
We arrived at high tide and it was a bit like being in a sweet or cake shop, you didn't know where to start, so much choice. Anyway we had a great morning and then headed off to JennyCliff cafe for lunch. As it had clouded over more and the light wasn't so good we decided to head for home. A great day out.
This evening we have a choral concert in Exmouth so a busy day.
