Two To Go

Working my way through the films nominated for Best Picture by The Academy. Today I saw The Fabelmans & with 2 more to see that have yet to be released this side of the pond, my money is still on Banshee of Inisherin.

Of course in truth the best picture is Top Gun: Maverick but I’m not naïve enough to think that will win. I’m just glad it is on the list. Banshee was the second best film I saw last year & I left the screening declaring it a winner.

I was slightly concerned that The Fabelmans may leave me wanting but Steven didn’t let me down. It was a nice touch by the legend at the start of the movie to thank me for attending the screening. I enjoyed it & was glad I stayed until the end to find out Darth Vader was his father.

As I have once again given the staff the weekend off, I decided not to cook and tried this place for the first time.
