A collage of photos from the Ice Sculpture Festival today.
I had a busy but enjoyable day. I started doing some house cleaning this morning so there would be less to do tomorrow morning. But the sun was shining and I wanted to be outside, so I headed off to Shubie Park for a walk. Came home, had lunch, then went downtown for the Ice Sculpture Festival.
They close one of the streets and several artists work on creating the sculptures. This year they included some entertainment at some of the various restaurants and cafes in the evening. The one that I wanted to see was outdoors, a performance by Luminosity, 2 gals that dance with fire and as a finale they breathe it out of their mouths.
So I have about 150 photos to sort thru and decide which ones are worth keeping.
I hope to go back tomorrow morning and take more photos. There were some sculptures that were not finished when I was there this afternoon.
