Before The Deluge . . . Jackson Browne

We are in for a wet spell.  Currently I can't see the estuary just grey mist.  We have been enjoying the company of a cousins daughter from the foresters family.  On Wednesday she and two friends are walking the Able Tasman Coast Track.  We are hoping the forecast improves but she has a good parka.  She is a physiotherapist in the north of the North Island and it has been an interesting conversation about the health services in the rural parts of our country.  Before she arrived I was having another go at photographing a green finch on a the sunflower head.  The soft light from the overcast sky  gave me an image I am pleased with.
