The Pier
I awoke at 6.15 and crept out knowing the morning would be good. After scraping the ice off the car windscreen I popped in to Teignmouth and walked along the beach by the pier. The sun was very strong so I put on a 0.6 grad and took 9 bracketed shots in the hope of getting the pier and the sun over it. I liked what came out even though there are quite a few sunspots, the biggest of which I've cloned out. There's one from under the pier here
It's the first day of the Devon County Show today so it seemed surprising to have good weather. It seems to be a day of mixed fortunes though as a little later the heavens opened and gave a long and heavy shower. It's gone now and it's looking good again. Have a look at Carrie's journal to see what was happening further down our mild and temperate coastline. On yesterday's local news there was footage of a heavy fall of snow at Princetown on the moor. Ah well, it's an interesting world!
Thank goodness it's Thursday, the first evening this week that I don't have to go out anywhere and can slob around and look at your blips.
Hope your day's going well.
David
