Delightfully Pungent
This is the River Teign by the lovely hamlet of Preston where I stopped today. The river flows through some lovely countryside here but the clay works nearby often give it a grey look when there's been rain. I found swathes of Ramsons, or wild garlic, along the banks and the smell was lovely and put me in just the right mood for my curry tonight. My blip shows some of the flowers, one with a bug in it, with the river flowing behind. Maybe you can smell the aroma!
With the wedding coming up next Friday, we'll be going to stay at Finlake tomorrow It's just a few miles away and we have several lodges booked so that different parts of the extended family can have their own place and we can get together as and when we choose (and go and hide away when we need to). So-o, I'm not sure where the blips will come from or how much time I'll have for comments but I'll do my best.
Thank you so much for all your lovely comments on yesterdays Teignmouth pier blip. I've got loads of views and loads of faves but it doesn't seem to have shown up in the favourites page yet. No idea how things work here, but it's your lovely comments that are the important things. Thank you, you're great!
Hope you're all set up and ready to enjoy the weekend.
David
