A welcome sight

We set of on a walk this morning with the expectation that the weather would improve as someone had researched the local weather forecasts. No sooner started than it began to drizzle. The rain continued for most of the next four hours but fortunately, given that I had no good waterproofs, it was light. It was a good circular route but the 15 kms and considerable ups and downs were a little more than I had wanted, given that I have agreed to play badminton tonight. So it was a relief when the village came into view. Then, a long soak in a hot bath to try to bring my aching legs back into fit condition. I am not sure it has worked!
