Lac du Loudenvielle

Another dreamy day in the Pyrenees!
The day started with fresh pastries from the Boulangerie, of course, and then Ali and I walked over for a morning at the Balnea Spa. Another new experience for me: sitting in bubbling, steaming 40° water whilst looking out over snow capped mountains, grabbing handfuls of snow and rubbing them on shoulders, just for the fun of it.

Another cheese and bread based lunch before heading off for a walk around the lake with Roddy and Laika, gazing out over the frozen lake and the snowy mountains.

This evening we finally got to experience Chez Roges which was local and quirky and absolutely wonderful. Way too much for the senses to take in.

More cheese and beer for dinner and more wonderful conversation.
