Friend + French Toast

This afternoon my friend Ali visited me for a long overdue catch up. After a cuppa at mine so she could see my place and (admiring the view across the countryside) we visited the No61 Turkish cafe for a treat.

French toast and a friend for company does wonders for the January blues. I’m was so sad to hear how she’s been separated from her grandchildren since July, such a difficult time. Hoping that changes over coming months.
