Hershey

Another productive day…the little bedroom is now ready for a bed which will arrive tomorrow. I’d hoped to pop over to see Mum this morning but I’d left it too late to get there before lunch so I walked the prom instead. It was an invigorating walk…very windy but lots of sunshine and blue sky. It was just after high tide and the white horses were jumping and being blown in the wind. (See extra)

A few chores completed this afternoon including sanding down and levelling off the kitchen wall which didn’t go to plan earlier this month…I’m quite pleased with my second attempt! A second walk late this afternoon and whilst the wind had died down it was bitter cold.

Camera club this evening with a speaker who’d had to cancel before Christmas. I managed a third place for one of my prints last week…the judge gave feedback on all 57 entries and was very complimentary on the three that didn’t get placed.

My blip is a couple of Hershey advertising thimbles which joined my collection after a trip to Florida in May 1986…they’re about an inch high and of no practical use whatsoever if you’re sewing!
