The iris reticulata flowers reappear

I was so pleased to find this pot of iris reticulata flowers in full bloom in a relatively hidden area of the patio, which I don't normally visit in winter.

I quickly rescued them and brought them onto the upper steps by our patio doors so we can admire them from the house. They are the first harbingers of spring this year, though Helena has just pointed out the snowdrops are flowering in the front garden.
