Fresh air

Nothing better than a good downpour to clear the air, especially when it brings the temperature down.

It’s been a frustrating day.

Our, still to be installed, new fibre line at home requires a new router. I got a message just after 07:00 to say it would be delivered today. Not a problem as Arnie would be home. Oh no, the router is obviously worth a lot of dosh, as it could only be delivered with me being present, complete with a proof of residence document and my ID, seriously, what a farce!

Fast forward 15 minutes when loadshedding hit the office and our “backup” wifi service didn’t work. Turns out the contract had been cancelled, why, none of us knew, but three hours later, after our normal wifi service was available again, it was back on line.

It’s been one of “those” days!
