The Waters Are Shrinking…..

Another late morning walk. Partly cloudy sky, very warm and very very humid. Maisie was keen to get into the shrinking waters of the Taylor River to have a drink and cool off. Home just before midday. Pottered around most of the day. I’m following all the catastrophic conditions in and around Auckland. There are heartbreaking storm effects in Coromandel and the Bay of Plenty… and not to forget Northland being hammered yet again. This stormy time is so cruel to both people , stock and the land. Kia kaha and Arohanui to our distant friends….
