Hotel View

I arrived just before sunset in Western New York. This is a view from my hotel room. It is beautiful Lake Erie.

I saw boaters and ski-dooers and para-sailers. It was a balmy 72F. One of the warmest days they've had yet.

I just relaxed in my room the rest of the evening, eating the Subway sandwich I picked up at the last Thruway reststop, and eventually falling asleep before what would have been 8 pm mountain time.

I was exhausted from that cross-country trip. That's why I don't do it more often - and why I plan on enjoying every day I'm here.
