Rye

It was a beautiful sunny day and OH had a blood test at 9.00 so I set off for an early walk.  I did a quick lap of the river and then home.  No.1 had a call with her boss who has been keeping in touch and we had planned a trip to Rye.  Boss touched on when she would be likely to return, however No.1 has medical certificate until end of April and certainly not feeling ready yet.  Hopefully they are not putting pressure on and call was just touching base?

We drove to Rye and walked along the high street looking at overpriced cushions and candles.  No.1 was not feeling 100% and was quiet and reflective and told me she fed up with 'feeling like shit' however she perked up a bit after lunch and a pit stop.  We found a lovely shop called Merchant and Mills selling amazing linen and sewing things, and made me want to get my machine changed and start sewing more.  We failed to find the interiors shop (No.1 felt that Francesca Plowden Wright has a shop in Rye).  Maybe next time.

OH had been busy getting some wood for the signage for the wedding and had given it a coat of primer.  Nothing much else.
