Walk with a view

I had booked a yoga session this morning but it was such a beautiful day that we decided to go for a nice walk instead.  OH was not keen on anywhere muddy but after the weather of the last few days, it was firm underfoot.  We have done this walk a number of times and we call it the "bun walk' - named because we did it in lockdown and took a flask and buns and stopped half way to enjoy a picnic and the views.   We did the same again today and both agree that we love where we live and feel very blessed that there are multiple walks just outside the front door, and we can enjoy lots of beautiful scenery.

Home for a quick lunch stop (still full from the bun) and a drive to IKEA.  Always better to visit midweek and we just wanted to browse and get a few ideas for next project.  No.2 messaged to say that the collector/gallerist who was due to visit his gallery to look at work had cancelled (Covid).  Shame as he was looking forward to it hoping it would lead to an exhibition.  Hopefully it was a genuine excuse to cry off and he will re-arrange.

We met No.2 at the Greenwich Ikea as he can get there from his flat in about ten minutes and the new project is in his interest so he was showing willing!  I didn't like this IKEA as it was huge and seemed to go on forever so next time will visit the one at lakeside where I know my way around.

Home to eat dinner (tuna with aubergine stew and saute potatoes) and to be beaten at scrabble AGAIN!  Although I did manage wordle in three this morning so not all bad?
