Daddy Mama and Bubba

Our usual Thursday morning wander to the Kilted Frog. Kara always likes these little ceramic frogs at the side. She says they are Daddy, Mama and Bubba frogs. Just like us!

Think we were reminding the owners of their days with young kids and flashbacks of reading Peter Rabbit (not in a good way) over and over again. In fairness, the original Peter Rabbit stories are pretty brutal. It’s of it’s time but I certainly jump over the bits about being beaten by a switch when reading them with Kara! At least the modern cartoons and films aren’t so bad. And the original Mr Jeremy Fisher book is still one of my favourites (although he still gets stabbed by a stickleback and almost eaten alive…)
