Bin Chicken

Popped to Tesco after work with Kara. She likes to go down the toy aisle, doesn’t want anything, just a browse. Spotted the Bluey section. I was tempted by this set, because it included an Ibis (aka ‘bin chicken’). I do miss the birds we had in Australia. Even bin chickens!

My actual favourite bird that I miss is the Forest Red-Tailed Black Cockatoo. Such an amazing bird to see. First spotted one in a tree in Kings Park and the redness of the tail initially made me thing it was a statue and not real. Hopefully there will still be some left by the time we visit again day, they are becoming quite rare due to loss of habitat.
