A beautiful evening

This was the sky behind us as we walked home late afternoon.

The visitor today was the service engineer for our house alarm. He was supposed to visit last Friday, no show, then Monday …repeat, but arrived today. The company are desperately short of engineers and this lad was over from Chester, the other side of the country. He did a thorough job and was a nice young man. 

The tree in the picture is not ours but manages to deposit leaves in our guttering, necessitating yesterday’s visitor.
