Twinning

I had to do a double take when I saw this today. I’ve heard of twinning towns and cities. Edinburgh I believe is twinned with several places including, Nice, Florence, San Diego, Vancouver, Dunedin, Xian and, from 1989, Kyiv.

But toilets? Who knew?

Clearly many people as the concept of toilet twinning has been going on for over a decade. When you read the text alongside the logo at the bottom (of the picture) that 2.5 billion people don’t have a loo. The funds raised seem to be used to establish water and sanitation projects.
