Help Needed

There was a paragraph in the newspaper the other day, telling of a pineapple glut in the north of our country.  

Apparently pineapples are rotting on the ground, and help is needed at the shop front to avoid an agricultural catastrophe.

So, we went out and bought a half a one.  The lass on the checkout said that she had bought one the previous day - not from the supermarket, but from the greengrocers across the road.  She said it was the best pineapple she had ever eaten.

We went and bought one from the same place - it did look special.  So not only is there is glut of pineapples in far north Queensland, there's also a bit of a glut in our kitchen.  

We will be eating pineapple for a while.
