Acknowledgement

Our local GP has moved into new premises - and there is a history wall.  The practice has been around for well over 100 years.

The point of this image though is to highlight the "Acknowledgement of Country" which I thought was beautifully worded.  It reads:

We acknowledge that we work, live and play on the land of the Kaurna people whose spiritual sovereignty flows through the generations.  We pay our respects to their elders, who were and who are, for they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and hopes of the Kaurna people today.
