Tally Ho!

Managed to fly again today, this time to Wellesbourne Mountford airfield where it was warm enough to sit outside and eat lunch while watching other arrivals. Amongst them was this spitfire which did a quick 'beat up' of the runway before landing and taxying in - presumably for lunch too!

This aircraft was originally built in 1944, so is considerably (!) older than me, and looking pretty good on it too. Just proves that it is unwise to judge age based on looks, and probably unwise to judge must other things on looks too!
