The Great Outdoors...
...it doesn't feel like I've been in it much these past 10 days!!! Danny took Nate to the doctors this morning. It's a hugely stressful thing for Nate and we had a fair few tears in the run up, but after doing a bit of role play he declared he was choosing "courage over fear", ha! And despite being there for 1.5 hours Danny reported back that he really did choose courage. So well done him! The nurse and doc both confirmed there's a virus going round and this is likely it. So keep feeding him plain healthy food and rehydration drinks, take in samples next week, and we'll see how he goes on. Reassuring that they're not concerned by how long it's lasted, but slightly disappointing there's no wonder medecine to take it away.
Asha also had a challenging day as she had 4 teeth removed this evening. 2 came out easily and 2 took some work... It's all preparation for her jaw stretcher thing that's going to be fitted soon. She was super brave and told me she spent the hour thinking about what her ideal dog would be as a way of distracting herself from what was happening.
Today I'm grateful for;
1) Danny doing those hard parenting bits of docs and driving Asha to the dentist.
2) Some fresh air whilst Danny and Nate were at the docs and I was able to nip out.
3) Our friend Ricky hearing his passport has been granted - he's been waiting since 2014!!!!!!!!! He had goosebumps telling me when I saw him earlier!
