Community gathering

Had to drive to Durham today to do some training in safeguarding, so I can volunteer at the local churches. It’s always a chore to leave the Dale and an absolute joy to come back, watching the scenery become more and more beautiful the closer I get to home.

This evening we reluctantly dragged ourselves out of our cosy home to walk into the village for a community get together for Friday drinks in the village hall. Glad we came. It’s a great little community x
