Number Day

Today was number day at school. Everyone had to come ‘dressed’ as a number. The day is to raise money for Childline.
Anyway…I decided to not just go as one number … I decided to go as a transforming number! The kids had to watch out to see what number I became throughout the day.
Five was there as an easy visual all day that I was a number. Everyone got number 1. Only the kids got the Roman numeral X. I had a go at being the Roman numeral V for a moment until I lost balance and fell over which amused the kids no end. The none took a bit of working out but again the kids got it and the adults didn’t!
It turned out quite a fun day with my class. We played math games with the yr2’s and then I took my class out to play a game up till lunch.

This evening mom, Stewart and I went out to Bizzy Lizzie’s for dinner. I had scampi. Mmmm! It’s been so long since I’ve had any. Ended up having sticky toffee pudding to finish.
It was so lovely seeing the smile on both their faces. :)

Took Scout a walk up the high street then it was time for a cosy hot chocolate and a film.
