Woodend

The grandiosity of this building suggests to me a rather posh school, or an upmarket hotel, probably built about one hundred years ago. Instead it is part of Woodend Hospital. I presume at some time this was the main entrance.

During the week every available open space is occupied by parked cars. Today the grounds were almost devoid of cars.

The weather has been very cloudy, as shown in the photograph, The sun never had a chance to put in an appearance. The temperature started to drop as the afternoon turned to evening.
