Brussels and the old Frankfurter

And following on from our last tomatoes yesterday, here are our teeny tiny brussels. The big news of the day was our beloved old Frankfurter opening again, after 3 years and one month. They closed just before Covid hit for a major reformation, which would allow a block of flats to be built on the land where their restaurant was, which at the time only had one floor above them. Little did they know! From all the places in our barrio, we've missed this place most. It was fantastic to be there again, trying out their new menu, celebrating their opening in their very low key way with some of the regular customers. Thanks to my brother busboy, the dinner was his generous Christmas present to us.  The new place is called La Peatonal.
