Gear Up

Sub zero temps again today. Grateful that it’s not as cold as yesterday, but still arctic temps remain. Mace has sensitive paws anyway, and in these temps, it’s just common sense to bundle him up for potty breaks. His LLBean fleece has been worn many times, but new to his winter attire are my smart wool socks as booties. We’ve talked about getting him actual dog booties but the temps are always short lived and we’ve made it work.

He wasn’t pleased with his get-up, but once outside he seemed to appreciate the need for it.

The temps last night were brutal, -22 actual temp and -50 feels like temp with the wind chill. Mt. Washington broke records with a -102 actual temp. Hoping for warmer weather this week.
