Just A Little One

4 Times the big bowl I am making has managed to escape (and more or less avoid damage!) but it has now got to the point where it has a coat of sanding sealer on it, so that is something.

During one of my breaks to breathe deeply  and let the blue air dissipate  I used one of the wee offcuts to make this wee dish. It is only 2 1/2" x 1 1/4" (6'5cm x 3.5cm).

The morning frost melted away nicely and after lunch SWMBO and I went for  walk. We walked down onto the playing field, turned left ... and found that breathing was really hard nigh on impossible -- the wind in our faces was freezing!!!! Obviously the house, the garage and the high fence between them had  prevented me feeling the cold wind, but we certainly felt it on the playing fields. We were out longer than we expected, or intended to be because on our way back we met one of our neighbours out walking his dog. Man he can talk. Even Meg his dog got bored and started complaining she wanted to go home.

My good deed for the day was helping changing the wiper blades on another neighbours car (something he had never done before). They can be flipping awkward!
